Samoan Festival

On Friday night we had a Samoan festival. We did it to represent our theme of Samoan culture.

Our teacher who taught us was Miss Leti because she is the only one how knows Samoan dancing.

We had four weeks to prepare. When the day came we danced really well. I had a lot of fun. My favorite dance was the Explorers boys dance. It was good.

Other noteworthy improvements are the removal of 10 shipwrecks off local reefs and the marked increase in the water quality of industrialized Pago Pago Harbor.

Science.

What is a karyotype? A karyotype is an image of all the chromosomes.
What do scientist use karyotypes for? Scientists take a picture of a person's cells when they are dividing.
How many pairs of chromosomes do humans have? 23
Both males and females have two sex chromosomes. Using the letters X and Y, describe the sex chromosomes of
Males: X,Y
Females: X,X
What do you think would happen if a person was born missing a chromosome or with too many chromosomes? They would be a little different.
